For the Weekend

This movie should’ve been called (Bad Weekend) instead of (For the Weekend). It was supposed to be a get away for someone’s birthday with friends, and it ended up just being a horrible weekend. They tried to have fun at one point, but most the time they weren’t getting along or having a good time. It was mostly people being mad and some feeling out of place. Just them being at the place things were really weird and awkward. Then one of them out of nowhere disappears. So it made the trip even worse!

Honestly I thought this was a mixture of a little depressing, a little strange, with a little bit of mystery. I think this teaches people to not go on trips with people you’re already on bad terms with. Also if the place seems strange you plan to stay at from the very start that you arrive then you might not want to ignore that. I’d be looking into the situation or looking into somewhere else to stay!

I think they could improve the movie by showing a little fun in it. Maybe have a scene where people get over their anger instead of staying mad most the time. Even the car ride there have them talk a little. The car ride was mostly music that you heard and not even by the inside of their car. I definitely think they should have seemed more worried and questioning the owner of the house as well.
